Subject Information Explanation

Each subject panel will have a blue box like this one.

Level: This column indicates the subject’s level. Note: only Level 3 & 4 subjects count towards university entrance.

Hours: The recommended study load at Hellyer is a total of 600 subject hours per year.

TCE CP: This column indicates the number of Credit Points gained by successfully completing the subject (120 points are required over 2 years, 80 of which must be in a Level 2, 3 or 4 subject).

TCE Skills: This indicates whether the subject enables you to meet the requirements for TCE literacy, numeracy and ICT.

Campus: This column indicates which Hellyer Regional Collective site will offer this subject for study in 2024.

Year 10 Assessment Rating Scales to support subject choices:

  • Below = Below expected Standard
  • Apr-L = Approaching expected Standard Low
  • Apr-H = Approaching expected Standard High
  • Std-L = At expected Standard Low
  • Std-M = At expected Standard Medium
  • Std-H = At expected Standard High
  • Abv-L = Above expected Standard Lower
  • Abv-H = Above expected Standard Lower 
  • Wabv = Well Above expected Standard
